Overview

Parker Hudson represents several of the largest international insurers in their highest stakes cases, many of which involve complex Chapter 11 proceedings. The firm has unique experience in this area because of its combined insurance coverage and bankruptcy bench.

Our experience ranges from litigating the first asbestos 524(g) bankruptcy in the early 1990s to within the last year trying the two highest-profile contested Chapter 11 sexual abuse proceedings in US history. The firm is currently counsel to insurers in more than a dozen other complex Chapter 11 and related state court proceedings involving like issues.

We are also a go-to firm of choice for the insurance industry in significant matters nationwide involving environmental, asbestos, and toxic tort exposures.

Our commercial clients have come to rely on our insurance know-how in defending high-stakes cases in which insurance may be a potential asset. For select matters, we are also available to consult regarding obtaining contested insurance recoveries.
