Jim Hicks is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Finance practice group, where he represents banks and other financial institutions in asset-based lending, single-lender, and syndicated financing transactions.
His experience includes representing lenders in senior secured financings involving borrowers across a range of industries, as well as loan restructurings, payoffs, assignments, and securitizations. Jim also has experience with lender remedies and distressed-credit matters, including foreclosure sales, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, and UCC foreclosure sales.
Prior to joining Parker Hudson, Jim represented lenders, financial institutions, and corporate clients in debt restructuring and insolvency-related matters. In addition to his finance experience, Jim has represented clients in complex commercial disputes in both state and federal courts.
