James Reed is an associate in the Real Estate practice group, bringing extensive experience across a broad range of commercial real estate services. He specializes in acquisitions, development, leasing, and dispositions involving diverse asset classes, including industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, and retail projects.

James has represented buyers, sellers, tenants, and landlords in transactions involving restaurants, retail spaces, hotels, office buildings, apartments, grocery stores, and logistics centers. His experience spans the entire real estate lifecycle, including land acquisition, development, asset stabilization, leasing, and sale.

Clients value James for his responsiveness, proactive mindset, and thoughtful approach to closing deals, particularly his commitment to aligning outcomes with their business objectives.

  • Represented a client in the $120MM acquisition of a portfolio of a dozen retail assets in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Alabama.*
  • Represented a client in the $72MM acquisition of a multifamily asset in Charleston, South Carolina.*
  • Represented an industrial developer in the $10MM acquisition of 165 acres of land in Savannah, Georgia.*
  • Represented a client in the $30MM acquisition of an assemblage of nine undeveloped parcels from four buyers in Atlanta, Georgia, for a mixed-use development.*
  • Represented an industrial developer in the $30MM financing of a construction loan and municipal bonds for title transaction on 45 acres of undeveloped land in Elsmere, Kentucky.*
  • Represented a S&P 500 company in general tenant leasing matters for its retail assets nationwide.* 
  • Represented an industrial developer in the $102MM disposition of two fully developed and leased industrial developments outside Atlanta, Georgia, and Memphis, Tennessee.*
  • Represented a client in the $10MM disposition of platted, entitled, and pad-ready land to a national fast-food restaurant chain for the construction of a cold storage warehouse outside of Cincinnati, Ohio.*
