Parker Hudson is delighted to celebrate that the ADL will honor Partner Scott Zweigel at its virtual 24th Annual ADL Jurisprudence Awards on April 13, 2021. ADL’s Jurisprudence Awards event pays tribute each year to lawyers who have, over the course of their careers, dedicated themselves to securing justice and fair treatment for all people.

Each year the Emerging Leader Award is presented to an attorney who is an emerging leader that has gone above and beyond in their legal practice and/or civic contributions to uphold the spirit of ADL’s mission. The ADL Jurisprudence Committee will be presenting the 2021 ADL Emerging Leader Award to both Ana María Martinez and Scott Zweigel. Scott is a member of the ADL Southeast regional board and co-chair of its Civil Rights Committee. In aid to the initiatives of ADL and the Hate Free Georgia coalition, he was instrumental in the recent passage of Georgia hate crimes legislation HB426 into law.

Event co-chair Eric Barnum noted, “Ana María Martinez’s advocacy efforts on behalf of the Latino community across a broad range of humanitarian and legal issues inspire other lawyers to make a difference. Likewise, Scott Zweigel’s investment of time in the Atlanta community on behalf of numerous organizations is above and beyond. For this and their other pro bono work, both are deserving of ADL’s Emerging Leader Award.”

Harrison Roberts, Parker Hudson’s Managing Partner remarked, “Scott’s commitment to the ADL and our community are inspiring. He has been a dedicated advocate for our clients and the causes he believes in. We are humbled by his example of service and look forward to celebrating this recognition on April 13.”
