Parker Hudson is pleased to announce that partner Jared Miller was recently elected Chair of the Georgia State Bar Franchise and Distribution Law Section for a one-year term beginning July 1, 2020. 

The Georgia State Bar Franchise and Distribution Law Section was formed to promote the education and best practices of franchise and distribution law among section members. Section activities include quarterly roundtable luncheon discussions on topics relating to franchise and distribution law.

As a member of Parker Hudson’s Litigation Practice Group, Jared regularly represents financial institutions, manufacturers, franchisors, hospitals, medical practices, and other clients in some of the bigger cases they face. Many of these claims involve business competition issues, intellectual property disputes, employment disputes and litigation, and banking, mortgagor, and franchise litigation. Jared also has extensive experience dealing with restrictive covenant and trade secret issues.

Jared has a professional reputation that has earned him a spot on the 2020 Super Lawyers listing in the area of Business Litigation. Prior to, he was selected as a Super Lawyers "Rising Star" in Business Litigation for several years.
