Bill Holley, Bob Brennan and Emily Shingler will speak at the Association of Corporate Counsel Georgia Chapter's Monthly Luncheon on January 14.

Bill Holley will present “Effective and Ethical Witness Preparation” which will provide guidance on how to stay on the proper side of the ethical line in preparing witnesses to give truthful, credible, and persuasive testimony. It also will address the effective preparation of corporate representative witnesses and the valuable role inside counsel can play in the preparation of company witnesses.

Bob Brennan and Emily Shingler will present “Legal Ethics: Internal Investigations and The Attorney Client Privilege In Corporate Fraud Investigations.” They will discuss the ethical issues inherent in questioning corporate employees at all levels of an organization as part of an internal investigation and the risks and benefits of self-disclosing the results of the internal investigation to an enforcement agency.

The January luncheon is complimentary for all ACC members and $35 for prospective ACC members. ACC membership is open to attorneys who practice law as in-house counsel employees of organizations and who do not hold themselves out to the public for the practice of law.
