Fall Law School Interview Schedule | 2008 Summer Clerks | Summer Calendar 2008 SUMMER CLERKS Dan Ennis. Dan is a rising third-year law student at Washington & Lee University School of Law. He was a staff writer for the Washington and Lee Law Review this past year, and will be involved with the Black Lung Legal Clinic next year. Originally from Maryland, he received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and History from Furman University in 2006, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. Dan will be with us from May 12th through August 1st. Chris Ezell. Chris joins us this summer having just completed his second year at the University of Alabama School of Law. He is a Sylacauga, Alabama native, and also earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama in 2006 where he majored in Finance and minored in Economics. Chris served as the Acquisitions Editor of the Alabama Law Review this past year, and is also a Law School Ambassador. Chris will arrive on May 12th and be with us until July 25th. David Freedman. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, David has completed his second year of law school at Wake Forest University School of Law, where he is a staff member of the Wake Forest Law Review and is also on the Moot Court Team. David received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College, majoring in Religion, graduating magna cum laude in 2006. David will be with us for 6 weeks. David arrives on June 30th and departs on August 8th. Megan Hinkle. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, Megan is finishing her second year of law school at the Duke University School of Law, where she is on the staff of the Duke Law Journal, on the board of the Moot Court team, and is involved with the Community Service Board. Megan received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, in Environmental Policy from the University of the South - Sewanee in 2006. Megan spent six weeks with us during Summer 2007, and will return this summer for four weeks. Her first day at the firm will be July 14th, and she will be with us through August 8th. Katelyn Hunt. Katelyn is one of our first-year clerks; she will have completed her first year of law school at the University of Georgia School of Law when she arrives at our office on May 12th. Katelyn is originally from Atlanta and received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University in 2007. Katelyn is a Deans Ambassador at the University of Georgia School of Law, and will spend six weeks of her 1L summer at Parker, Hudson. She will be with us from May 12th through June 20th. Christie Keifer. Christie has just completed her second year of law school at the University of Virginia, where she works on the Domestic Violence Project, is a Dillard Fellow, and is a member of the Virginia Law Review. Christie received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Dartmouth College in 2004, with a double major in Philosophy and Japanese. Christie, who attended high school in Atlanta, spent six weeks of her 1L summer at Parker, Hudson, and is returning this summer to spend five weeks with us during the second half of the summer, from July 7th - August 8th. Elizabeth Loyd. Elizabeth has just completed her second year of law school at the University of Texas School of Law. She received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Washington & Lee University in American History and Spanish in 2004. Elizabeth is an Atlanta native, and spent six weeks at Parker, Hudson last summer. She will be with us for four weeks this summer during the second half, from July 14th through August 8th. Tremain Mattress. Tremain has completed his second year at Duke University School of Law, where he is a student volunteer at the Poverty Clinic and a member of the Black Law Students Association. He graduated, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Morehouse College with a major in Political Science in 2003. Tremain is originally from Westminster, South Carolina. He will be with us for nine weeks this summer, from May 12th through July 11th. Brett Montroy. Brett is a rising third-year student at Georgia State University School of Law, where he is Associate Editor of the Georgia State Law Review. Brett attended the University of Georgia for undergraduate studies, and graduated, summa cum laude, with a degree in Economics in 2006. A native of Duluth, Georgia, Brett will be with us for eleven weeks -- from May 19th through August 1st. Puja Patel. An Atlanta native, Puja is returning to Parker, Hudson for her second summer. She spent six weeks with us last summer following her first year at the University of Georgia School of Law. She will have completed her second year of law school when she joins us on July 14th . Puja will be the Articles Editor of the Georgia Law Review for the 2008-2009 school year. Prior to entering law school, Puja received her undergraduate degree in 2006, summa cum laude, from Georgia Tech University, majoring in Public Policy. Puja's last day at the firm will be August 8th. Raj Shah. Raj is a rising second-year student at the University of Georgia School of Law, where he is active in the Asian Law Student Association, and is a Dean's Ambassador. Raj received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia, majoring in Agriculture, Leadership and Law. He also received a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Georgia in 2006. Raj is originally from Lawrenceville, Georgia and will join us for six weeks during the first half of the summer. Raj's first day is May 12th, and he will be with us through June 20th. Machir Stull. Machir is finishing his second year of law school at the Southern Methodist University School of Law where he is a Staff Editor of the International Law Review. A Dallas, Texas native, Machir attended University of Virginia for his undergraduate studies, and received his degree in American Studies and Spanish in 2005. Machir's first day at the firm will be June 30th, and he will be with us for six weeks, through August 8th. Jenny Worthy. Jenny comes to us from the Vanderbilt University School of Law having completed her second year of law school. She is Managing Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law and is also involved with the Vanderbilt Law School Ambassadors. Originally from Gilbert, South Carolina, Jenny attended the University of South Carolina and received her undergraduate degree in Political Science and History, magna cum laude, in 2005. Jenny will start with us on June 23rd and be with us through August 8th. John Wright. Originally from Fayetteville, Georgia, John is finishing his second year of law school at the University of Alabama School of Law, where he is Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review, and a member of the Federalist Society. John received his undergraduate degree, with high honor, in Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2000. John will spend twelve weeks at the firm this summer, from May 12th through August 1st.
