About Teresa

Teresa is an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice group. Her practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, including those involving fraud, accounting discrepancies, securities litigation and arbitration, and other general business contract disputes. In addition, Teresa regularly represents financial institutions in a wide variety of defensive litigation. Teresa also has experience in the White Collar Crime Area of the law and in assisting defendants in joint investigations under the SEC and the DOJ. Teresa is also experienced in the representation of broker/dealers in customer disputes brought into Arbitration under FINRA.

Prior to joining the firm, Teresa was an associate with King & Spalding, LLP in Atlanta where she worked on several high profile cases involving accounting misrepresentations, SEC/DOJ investigations, and other general business litigation issues.

Teresa also maintains her CPA license and, prior to obtaining her law degree practiced as a CPA for over eight years -- initially with Ernst & Young, LLP in their audit department and then with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP in their Litigation Consulting Group, where she assisted attorneys in their calculation of damages and the presentation of expert testimony in court.
